The game does support Download Play, but the modes are limited if you choose to play this way (only Toad Scramble, Coinathlon, Balloon Bash, and the minigames), and even then your selection of maps, playable characters, and minigames are limited as well, so playing like this isn't even the full game. The only way to play the FULL GAME in multiplayer is that either all players had a copy of the game, or one person had a copy and the rest used MPSR - Party Guest Edition (or their own copy).īecause of this, once the eShop closes, Mario Party Star Rush will be the HARDEST Mario Party game to play completely!
